Mountain Buzz Pollinator Event - 2024
On June 21, 2024, BCCD held a pollinator extravaganza in celebration of annual Pollinator Week (June 17-June 23). Annual Pollinator Week is a celebration in support of pollinator health. Mountain Buzz Pollinator Event took place in our pollinator garden. Attendees shopped the pollinator market, took self-guided tours of our pollinator garden and learned about pollinators through hand-outs and visits with experts. Children listened to readings of Make Way for Butterfly by Ross Burach and The Hunt for Honey by Harriet Brundle and got creative at the craft/coloring table.* Everyone enjoyed samples and refreshments made with items grown/produced with the help of pollinators.
A big thank you to everyone who attended, the vendors who participated in the event, the vendors who donated products and to the BCCD Board, employees and Partners. The event was a huge success and we look forward to next year’s event!
