On April 22, 2025 the Baxter County Conservation District hosted the Spring Conservation Celebration event. Mary Alice and Bernie Wiesner were the most gracious hosts who allowed us to use their beautiful farm for our event. We had farm tours showing all the practices they have implemented with the help of NRCS and the 319 Program, such as, heavy-use areas, livestock pipeline, watering units, cross fencing, rotational grazing, fruit trees, and brush management. There were tables set up by Baxter County Extension Agent Paige Barrett, the Baxter County Game and Fish Commission, and Quail Forever. It was such a lovely day and a great turn out. Thank you to everyone who attended!
